James Colson Baker, his father, was depressed and unemployment. Her mother Sonia Alane had left him at the age of nine. Baker's father moved with Baker to Denver and the family lived at the aunt of his father. Baker experienced bullying from kids in the neighborhood due to of his poor living conditions. When he was in sixth grade, he started listening to hip-hop. Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on 22 April 1990 in Texas the U.S. His music is a blend of contemporary, alternative hip-hop along with rock. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010 and released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. In late 2011, this Cleveland artist became an international star after he made the transition from self-releasing mixtapes to working for reputed record labels. From there his career skyrocketed every album charting among the top 10.
